An invoice editor emerged in kaepsi that was useful in its own right. Rather than turn it into a large accounting product, we made faktano: a clear, independent way to create invoices.

What we built
The core stays free.
The invoice editor is free to use. Only when an invoice becomes an e-invoice does a €1 pay-as-you-go charge apply. No large setup and no bundle that promises more than the task requires.

faktano is a business built out of kaepsi and is allowed to remain exactly that: a good, lean tool for a clearly defined task. Its current state is available on faktano.de.
